Change the Channel will be hosted by Michael Muir, a Senior from School for Classics, and Sikirat Mustapha, a senior from Brooklyn Latin High School. We are also honored to have Zy Bryant, who was named as one of Teen Vogue’s 21 under 21 Young People Changing the World for leading the charge of taking down the Robert Lee statue in Charlottesville, VA in 2017. Sessions will be panel style and will provide perspectives from our youth, experts, educators, activists, and artists! During the week, I will send updates on our guest presenters along with their bios.
I am also thankful to the Related Affordable Foundation and Diversity in Action for their sponsorship, which will allow us to provide 2 students with a $1,000 scholarship and up to $1,000 in gift cards! Furthermore, I would like to thank MBK at Brooklyn North High Schools and the Office of Equity and Access for their partnership and I could not do this work without my community partners, Yeyex, Oceans & Rivers, and Breaking the Cycle.
If you are interested in having a digital booth, which will allow participants to learn more about your business, program, or school, respond directly to this email and I will set it up for you.
