Join Senator Roxanne J. Persaud and women who are shaping change for a conversation on Diversity and Inclusion, Celebrating Achievements and
Valuing Differences, Raising awareness about discrimination, and Strategies for advancing Gender Equality. See post for more details.

In this workshop, families and professionals will learn:
• The transition planning process, requirements, and postsecondary options to prepare students for adult life and new educational, employment, and independent living settings.
• Different parts of the transition planning process that help families and professionals to support students in developing self-determination skills and measurable postsecondary goals and annual goals.
• How to use resources embedded in the Family Guide to further enhance your
understanding of each of the topic areas and to enhance collaboration in transition planning.

Due to expected severe weather conditions, all New York City public school buildings are closed Tuesday, February 13, 2024. All instruction will take place remotely using Google Classroom & Meet.

On Thursday, January 11, 2024, the New York State Education Department will be hosting a public hearing on the effectiveness of mayoral control of New York City Schools at Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn from 6:00pm to 9:00pm.

January Regents Examinations are quickly approaching! Please take advantage of these opportunities to review and prepare for the regents examinations!

We welcome you to join our December 2023 PTA meeting! There will be lots of information delivered and questions answered. We welcome unwrapped toys for our Toy Drive and there will be Turkey and Ham Giveaways! Please join us!

Boys Junior Varsity, Research & Service Varsity and Boys Varsity will be playing basketball matches @ 10am, 12pm & 2pm respectively. Doors open @ 9am @ the Dr. Frank N. Mickens Gymnasium and Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Come out and support our Scholar Athletes!!!
