Boys and Girls High School Retires the Jersey of Dwayne ‘the Pearl’ Washington On Saturday, November 30th, the jersey of former Boys and Girls High School alumni, Dwayne Alonzo “Pearl” Washington was retired during the annual Kangaroo Basketball Classics.
Kangaroo Classic November 30 2019 The Kangaroos were able to close out the night with a win. After a thrilling main event, the Roos hopped on to victory. Khalil Brantley finished with 32pts and collected MVP honors. Jaheim Edwards took the Trevor Mickens Highest Scholastic Average Award home with a 94.6% average. Achievement First’s own, Nyah Sam received Sportsmanship honors.
