Council Member Robert E. Cornegy Jr. Hosts a Holiday Gift Giveaway on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. Available while supplies last and a child must be present, no exceptions.

This pandemic has taken a real toll on everyone, especially our youth. Grades have dropped, school attendance is an overall challenge, and many of our young people are on the brink of giving up if they have not already done so. We are all ready for 2020 to be over and now it's time to change gears by reenergizing, reconnecting, recommitting, and stepping into our power for 2021! This is why we have decided to host the "Change the Channel" conference on December 12th virtually for our youth and their communities. High school youth from IM chapters in Philadelphia and Ohio will be joining us as we put our superpowers together to get through the pandemic together!

Good afternoon,

Please see the attached letter from the Chancellor regarding building closure beginning on Thursday, November 19, 2020. This action has been taken to address the concerning rise in COVID-19 transmissions rates. We have been informed that this is temporary. We will continue to keep the community updated.

Be advised that as a result, we will be transitioning to fully remote learning.

Open to all Students. We explore topics such as: Coping Skills for Anxiety & Stress, Politics and Safety, Life during CoVID, Grief & Loss, Balancing Life & School, Healthy Relationships, Holiday Blues, and much more. Please join us at the google meet link!

On Thursday, November 12th and Friday, November 13th, we will be having Open School Conferences. We are asking for all parents, guardians, and adult representatives, of every student, to join us for these virtual meetings. Please view the attached document for instructions and guidance.
